Features on the 2018 Kia Sorento
If you're looking for a vehicle that is loaded with options, the 2018 Kia Sorento is the right choice for you. When you choose the 2018 Kia Sorento, there are three different engines options to pick from, compared to the one engine that is found on the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. The standard and only engine on the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder is a 3.5L V6 that churns out 284 horsepower and 259 pound-feet of torque. This engine may be more powerful than the 2018 Kia Sorento's standard 2.4L four-cylinder engine the provides 185 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque, and slightly more powerful than the 2.0L four-cylinder engine with turbocharger, which produces 240 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. However, it is no match for the 290 horsepower, 3.3L V6 engine with 252 pound-feet of torque, which is standard on four out of seven of the 2018 Kia Sorento trim levels.
In addition to the plethora of options when it comes to performance, like the three different engines, seven trim levels, and a choice between All-Wheel and Front-Wheel Drive, the 2018 Kia Sorento also offers plenty of options in the interior. Depending on which trim level you choose, you can either have seating for five or seven passengers. The 2017 Nissan Pathfinder doesn't give you the same options, as the only configuration includes space for seven passengers, without the option of only having five seats, and by extension, more room for cargo behind the second row. While interior space is important, you also need to make sure the vehicle that you choose has all the technology features that you desire. While the base L trim level of the 2018 Kia Sorento doesn't offer as much on the technology front, you'll still be able to connect your phone through the vehicle with Bluetooth® connectivity. Unlike the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder, the 2018 Kia Sorento steps it up on the higher trim levels, adding available Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™.
